MAC Rescue and Aquatic program
The MAC Rescue and Aquatic Program is a specialist 58-minute social and recreational water safety program for students aged 13–17 years who have either completed Level 9 in our Learn to Swim program or can swim 150 metres of freestyle.
These lessons are ideal if you want to continue a once per week structured lesson as part of a group with a class size of up to 10 students.
The program covers:
- Gaining further knowledge and skills in rescue scenarios
- Learning survival sequences
- Developing awareness of limitations in rescue situations.
This is not a certified course for becoming a lifeguard. For information on lifeguard training please visit the Life Saving Victoria website.
