Following this disruption, a comprehensive review and redesign of the structural elements were undertaken, accompanied by thorough structural and civil site surveys to ensure accurate and up-to-date condition assessments, vital for the project's progression.
During this period, Council secured a Community Energy Upgrade Fund grant. This led to an altered design to replace all gas components with electric alternatives, aligning with Council's net-zero emissions strategy.
