About this Program
The Festive Fund (Quick Response) Grants Program is a pilot initiative that supports community-led projects, events and activities that activate public spaces and contribute to City of Maribyrnong's festive calendar during November and December 2026.
Eligible applicants are Maribyrnong based not-for-profit incorporated organisations or community groups. Unincorporated groups, local businesses and artists may apply through an eligible auspice organisation.
Applications will be assessed by a panel of Council officers and endorsed by the relevant Manager/Director, with outcomes notified within 28 days of the grant round closing.
This grant stream may be offered again in 2027 upon evaluation of this year's pilot initiative.
Applications Now Open
The 2026 round is currently open and closes 12pm midday on Thursday 8 October 2026. Late applications cannot be accepted.
Funded activities must be delivered between 1 November and 24 December 2026.
Grants of up to $7,500, inclusive of GST, are availble from a total funding pool of $50,000.
