Council removes deceased animals from public places including roads, parks and shopping areas within 24 hours of receiving a report.

If the animal is a dog or cat, an Animal Management Officer will check for an identification tag or microchip and use this information to notify the owner.

Council does not pick up deceased animals from private property.
