Councillor Pradeep Tiwari has today returned to his duties as Mayor and Councillor of Maribyrnong City Council under section 229 of the Local Government Act 2020.
Councillor Pradeep Tiwari’s stood down as Mayor and Councillor on Maribyrnong City Council on 25 August 2025 and these legal proceedings were concluded today.
“I am thrilled to be back to work representing the Bluestone Ward and the Maribyrnong Community,” Cr Tiwari said. Council will not be making any further comment at this time.
