MAC Children's Christmas Party

Join us for the annual MAC children's Christmas party!

There will be a range of activities to keep your children entertained including pool inflatables, a movie on the big screen, and Santa and his elf saying "hello" to the kids throughout the day.

Schedule of activities

Time	Activity
11am-4pm	Pool inflatables.
1.30-3:30pm	The Santa Clause on the dive-in big screen.

Children will receive free entry into the leisure pool and 50-metre pool all day!

Special Christmas Surprises

Santa and his friendly elf will be roaming the centre for photos, laughs and Christmas wishes.
Fairy floss machine – grab a delicious, fluffy treat!
Christmas scavenger hunt – complete the clues to go in the running for a special prize!

MAC's Watch Around Water Policy

Watch Around Water is a water safety education program designed to raise awareness about the importance of active supervision by guardians of young children, who are particularly vulnerable around water. The key message of the program is: Parents supervise. Lifeguards save lives.

Children under 5 years old

0-4 years must wear a PINK wristband
must be accompanied into the centre and the water by a responsible guardian over 16 years
must stay within arm’s reach at all times, which includes children in prams
a maximum of two under 5’s can be supervised by one guardian over 16 years
guardian must wear the corresponding amount of PINK wristbands to match to their child/children at all times.

Children under 10 years old

5-9 years must wear a yellow wristband
must be accompanied into the centre by a responsible guardian over 16 years
must be constantly and actively supervised
guardians must position themselves to have a clear view of the child with no physical or structural barriers between them and the child / children, which includes the use of electronic devices e.g. mobile phones and laptops.
a maximum of four under 10’s can be supervised by one guardian over 16 years. A maximum of two under 5’s may be included in this number
guardian must wear the corresponding amount of YELLOW wristbands to match to their child/children at all times.

Children 10 years and older

Guardians must use their knowledge of an individual child's swimming ability and general development to determine the level of accompaniment required.
