The funding has been allocated to a list of preferred suppliers, identified through an Expression of Interest process, who will offer services to other traders valued at $2,000 (+gst) each across a range of categories including:
- Accounting and Bookkeeping
- Business Coaching
- Business Consulting
- Copywriting and Public Relations
- Digital Marketing and Search Engine Optimisation
- Graphic Design and Visual Merchandising
- Marketing Consulting and Advertising
- Printing and Signage
- Web Design and Mobile App Development
Small business owners within Maribyrnong can apply for one of the vouchers if they want to participate in the program from 9am, Wednesday 1 December 2021 to 5pm, Friday 14 January 2022.
Up to 35 local businesses will be able to be matched with one of the preferred Business Elevate Program suppliers whose names appear on the Business Elevate Program register, which can be found on our Maribyrnong Localised platform.
Vouchers will be allocated to those who meet relevant the selection criteria on a ‘first in, best dressed’ basis.
Mayor, Cr Anthony Tran said “The program is a great new initiative Council hopes will help small businesses connect and increase trade to prosper and thrive. If you own a small business locally and it is registered in the City of Maribyrnong, I encourage you to apply.”
Local businesses can also join the ‘Maribyrnong Localised’ online business community, which is a free and easy way to show your business is local to the area. The business led initiative is supported by Council.
