Midsumma Westside delivers a rainbow of activities
Published on 02 April 2021
This year, Midsumma Westside delivers more than ever before as we showcase the creativity of our LGBTIQA+ community in a rainbow of activities that runs from 19 April to 5 May 2021.
It is part of Midsumma Festival, Australia’s premier queer arts and cultural festival. This festival brings together a diverse mix of LGBTQIA+ artists, performers, communities and audiences. In the west we’ll be celebrating Midsumma Westside, a partnership between Midsumma Festival and the councils of the west.
There’s a line up of 25 events in Midsumma Westside that are designed to engage the emotions and imaginations, and of course entertain. There’s exhibitions, live performances, music, storytelling, comedy and plenty of family friendly fun. Highlights of the westside program in the City of Maribyrnong include:
On Screen, In the Flesh
