Learning important health information for families with young children. The session will be delivered by an Ambulance Victoria paramedic, and will include:
- alternative healthcare pathways to manage non-urgent care at home
- common medical conditions in children and how to address them
- where to find reliable sources of information about children's health
- common barriers to assisting someone in need
- how to respond confidently in a cardiac emergency
- how to save a life in three simple steps: Call, Push, Shock
- when to call Triple Zero (000) and what to expect
