The INFANT Program

The INFANT Program brings together parents of babies aged 6, 9 or 12 months of age to learn from health professionals, and to foster group discussion by participants.

The groups discussions are valuable as participants share experiences with being a parent of an infant.  You will also hear about what strategies they used to cope with the demands of being a new parent.

These group sessions focus on:

• Feeding your baby.
• Healthy eating and nutrition.
• The importantance of active play to a baby’s development.
• Providing support to families.
• Undrstanding and responding to your baby’s cues/signs.
• When and how to introduce solid foods and a sippy cup.
• Active play parents and babies can do together.
• Strategies for limiting screens.

To compliment these group sessions the ‘My Baby Now’ app is available to download for free in the App Store for iOS devices and Google Play for Android devices.
