Council has released its second Quarterly Performance and Financial Report for 2025/26, which reviews progress against the Annual Budget and delivery of actions under the Council Plan 2025-29.
The second quarter update shows 94% of Council Plan action items on track, 4% of actions in progress but delayed and 2% of action items completed.
“This update highlights the range of works we are taking on around the City,” said Mayor, Cr Mohamed Semra.
“We are looking to the future with the Creative West project, streetscape and road works throughout Maribyrnong, as well as building community facilities at RecWest, Shorten Reserve and Maribyrnong Aquatic Centre,” he added.
We are now projecting a favourable operating result at the end of the financial year due to variances identified following our first quarter Report.
