About

Mission Whitten Oval is home to the Western Bulldogs Football Club, including its four teams (AFL/W and VFL/W), the Club administration and football departments, and the Western Bulldogs Community Foundation. The ground floor features publicly accessible amenities including Alfa Whitten Oval cafe, shop, museum, parents room, multi-faith room and accessible bathrooms.

The Victoria University Community Sports Stadium houses four indoor courts lined for basketball, netball, futsal, volleyball and badminton. It is home to local programs including Ready Steady Go Kids, and the Westgate Basketball Association.

Limited 4-hour and accessible parking is available on site, with bus stops in front of the oval on Barkly Street, and West Footscray Station located just behind on Cross Street.

Main building entry (including cafe and museum): Open 8am-4pm weekdays, 9am-1pm on Saturdays

Spurling Reserve gates (access to Oval and external surrounds): Open 7am to 6pm daily, increased to 8pm during daylight savings

Access is restricted during events including Match Days (AFLW, VFL, VFLW)
