Eligibility
All Victorian households are eligible for discounts to upgrade to more energy-efficient appliances. Renters can access many discounts, but some upgrades (like heating and cooling) will require landlord approval.
Choose an approved product and an accredited provider to oversee the installation and paperwork. In most cases, you need to replace an older appliance with a more efficient, approved model. The discount is applied upfront, so you only pay the remaining amount and there's no need to claim it back later.
