Intercultural Maribyrnong
The Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung and Bunurong peoples of the Kulin Nation are the Traditional Owners of the land we now call Maribyrnong. We honour their ongoing connection to this land and pay our respects to Elders past and present.
Today, Maribyrnong is a diverse and welcoming community. More than 38% of our residents were born overseas, and together we speak over 80 languages and come from over 100 countries.
We celebrate our differences and work to make sure everyone feels respected, included, and welcome.
