Tax time is soon approaching: come along to a free workshop with Creative + Business to learn more about your annual and ongoing obligations as a creative enterprise or artist and get your financial house in order.
Tax Time for Creatives examines the intersection between individual tax, small business and the key creative tax rulings that dictate how creative practitioners need to interact with the tax department.
You will learn the basics of taxable income; key creative tax rulings; the test for working out hobby versus business; the basics of deductions; and easy tips and tricks for record-keeping. Participants can ask questions and get access to more resources and support.
This workshop is free with refreshments provided.
