Each year Halloween is celebrated around the world on 31 October, usually with elaborate costumes and trick or treating, and for many years Yarraville Village has been the Halloween destination for many locals. This year Halloween celebrations will look a little different due to COVID-19 restrictions, but locals can still take part in Yarraville Village’s online Halloween festivities.

Yarraville Traders Association have pivoted their annual Halloween activities to deliver online opportunities for locals to take part in and enjoy the spooky spirit!

There’s lots to do online this year to celebrate, including a best dressed window competition where you’ll have the opportunity to vote for the best decorated businesses in Village!

Further activities include an array of downloadable colouring in competitions, digital trick or treating activities using QR codes, and an online Halloween dance tutorial where you can submit your ‘Yarraville Mash’ dance moves.

Please remember to stay safe when leaving the house by wearing a mask, maintain hand hygiene and adhere to State Government restrictions and physical distancing requirements to help keep our community safe.
