Notice of Acquisition – 105-107 Stanhope, 736 and 738 Barkly Streets, West Footscray
Section 112(3) of the Local Government Act 2020 (Vic) requires that any purchase of land by Council must be undertaken in accordance with the Council’s Community Engagement Policy.
This Public Notice serves to inform the Maribyrnong community of the following acquisitions by Maribyrnong City Council:

Purpose:
The properties above have been acquired to create a new Local Open Space of approximately 3,200 sq metres in the West Footscray gap area identified in Council’s Open Space Strategy.
The acquisitions have been funded from Council’s Open Space Reserve which is made up of developer contributions to meet the growing needs of current and future residents.
