The Austin Street Pop-Up Park was a priority from the Seddon Neighbourhood Plan and in August 2025 Council decided to trial the park.

The park was installed in February 2026 and will be trialled for 18 months, closing vehicle access between Austin Street and Victoria Street. 

During the trial we will also seek further feedback from the community about the pop-up park.
