  • sensory gardens and an exploration trail for imaginative play
  • an outdoor dining and yarning circle for performances and creative opportunities
  • landscaped textured paths and planting of new trees for natural shade

Contractors will be onsite between 7am-5pm Monday-Saturday to undertake the works. During the works the outside play space adjacent to rooms one through to five will be inaccessible to children, families and staff, and temporary site fencing will be erected around the perimeter of the playground. Children will have access to other outdoor play spaces while works are undertaken, including smaller playgrounds onsite and offsite through the ‘Out and About’ program.

Access to the Centre will remain via Court Street however the footpath along the western side of the Centre will be closed off with temporary fencing, and signage will be in place to support safe navigation around the area. An alternate footpath is available on the eastern side of Cruickshank Park.

There will be some impacts to car parking along Court Street, with around seven car spaces opposite the Centre near Cruickshank Park unavailable and closed off with fencing throughout the works. Signage will be in place to support safe navigation around the closed off areas.
