About the Community Grants Program

Council's Community Grants Program provides funding to support projects that will benefit the Maribyrnong community. The focus for the 2025-26 Community Grants Program is to support projects that address the following focus areas:

  • Encourage and remove barriers to participation in community life  
  • Build community resilience and/or organisational capacity and strengthen networks
  • Support community connectedness and/or wellbeing
  • Provide opportunities for intergenerational and/or intercultural connection.

Grants of up to $25,000 are available.
