GO Family

GO Family is a six-week program that facilitates parents and their children getting active and playing the great game of football (soccer) together.  Local football clubs will lead a program and Council will work closely with the clubs to maximise participation of our local residents.

This is a fantastic opportunity for the entire family to get active while having fun and will consist of skills training, football mini-games as well as practice matches. 

Council invites you to attend the Launch Event on Saturday 18th January at Skinner Reserve, Braybrook from 10am to 12pm, where you will be able to get a taste for the program.

Following the Launch Event, the six-week program will commence on 4 February – with a weekly session at three local football clubs.

• Maribyrnong Swifts FC at Johnson Reserve

  Tuesday nights at 6pm commencing Tuesday 4 Febraury 2025

• Footscray United Rangers at Robert Barrett Reserve

• Yarraville Glory FC at McIvor Reserve

  Thursday nights at 6pm commencing Thursday 6 February 2025

No registrations required, just turn up and we will take care of the registrations at the club. Come join us for a fun filled 6 weeks of football and community.
