We will kick off 16 Days of Activism with the launch of the ASPIRE photo exhibition, joined by our partners Multicultural Centre for Women's Health and cohealth. This exhibit is a collection of photographs by women who have experienced family violence, or supported other women experiencing violence.
Walk Against Family Violence
Following the ASPIRE launch, we are inviting everyone to join us for the annual Walk Against Family Violence, starting at Fed Square. The first walk was held in 2008 by a committee of family violence services, local councils and Victoria Police, to raise community awareness of family violence, and its impact within the community.
We can provide free transport to those traveling from Braybrook Library. Numbers are limited, so please register your interest by contacting healthandwellbeing@maribyrnong.vic.gov.au by 15 November.
