Funding 101: Diversifying Income Streams
Next date: Monday, 15 June 2026 | 09:00 AM
to 12:00 PM
Are you a local not-for-profit, social enterprise or community organisation looking to build more sustainable and diverse income streams?
Join Maribyrnong City Council and Local Impact for this free, hands-on workshop focused on turning ideas into practical income opportunities.
Facilitated by Aruna Venkatachalam, Local Impact’s Head of Impact Education who specialises in practical learning for social enterprises and NFPs, this highly interactive session will help you move beyond theory and into action. You’ll learn how to identify new revenue opportunities within your existing strengths, test ideas, and develop simple, mission-aligned income strategies.
Through guided activities, peer learning and support from local mentors, you will work through practical tools to:
- identify underused assets and map them into income opportunities
- develop new products, services or revenue ideas
- explore partnership and collaboration opportunities
- create small-scale revenue ideas ready to test
In today’s complex funding environment, diversifying income is essential for long-term sustainability. This workshop provides a supportive space to collaborate, share ideas and leave with practical next steps.
Arrival from 8.30am for a 9am start. Morning tea provided.
