This workshop is designed to help grant writers have a better chance of success when applying for grants. It will provide the foundations to support you through the application process and assist you to explore additional funding opportunities for longer-term sustainability.

The workshop will be presented by Tyson Tuala from Non-Profit Training.

Topics include:

  • Information to have on hand before you start writing your application
  • Understanding the funder and what they want from you
  • Aligning the project with the funder outcomes
  • Defining the project’s benefit for the community
  • Deciding if you should apply for the grant
  • Finding evidence to support your project
  • Understanding grant eligibility criteria and guidelines
  • Adhering to the grant conditions and responsibilities
  • Preparing the budget
  • Evaluation of the project and the acquittal
  • Answers to some common grant questions to get you started.
