HIDDEN Footscray

Delve deep enough beneath the cosmopolitan charm of Footscray, and you can find hidden stories of lost heritage, unknown traditional cultural practices, forgotten memories and more.

Maribyrnong City Council is delighted to present HIDDEN Footscray - featuring artworks by six local artists David Hourigan, Deb Bain-King, Jody Haines, Kerrie Poliness, Jason Waterhouse and Felicity Watson and an essay by author/academic John Weldon.

Working across a range of media, themes and creative expressions, the HIDDEN exhibition series highlights diverse aspects of overlooked culture, heritage and geography within Maribyrnong.

HIDDEN Footscray is on display at Footscray Community Arts from 14 January-26 March 2023.
