Hard rubbish drop off event

Declutter your garage and responsibly dispose of unwanted household items at Council's hard rubbish drop off event.

Transport your materials in your car boot, van or trailer (up to 4m cage).

Trucks are not permitted.

Accepted items

Please note that the following items are acceptable:

• Tyres - maximum of two
• Mattresses and bed bases - maximum of two pieces in total
• White goods and appliances
• Electronic appliances including vapes
• Timber, scrap metal, bricks and rubble
• Green waste
• Cardboard
• Car batteries and household batteries
• Gas bottles including nitrous oxide canisters
• Used motor oil
• End of life household furniture.

Attending the site

Residents are responsible for separating their materials into several areas on-site. Please note, children must remain in your car at all times.

To reduce wait times and traffic congestion, this event is ticketed (limited to one ticket per household).
