Starting Kindergarten

 This online session will provide information and support about children starting kindergarten.

A panel of speakers will discuss:

• how to decide when your child is ready for kindergarten
• how to choose the right kindergarten for your child
• what children learn at kindergarten, and
• how to settle your child into kindergarten in a way that supports their emotional wellbeing.

The session will be hosted by Louise Dorrat, Early Childhood Consultant, and the panel will include a parent of a child starting kindergarten, and kindergarten teachers from both sessional and integrated kindergarten settings.
