Village Green is a large neighbourhood open space with a playground that connects to the Maribyrnong River via a series of terraces and sloping lawns.
Village Green has a designated dog off-lead area which is on the lower area, north-west of the footbridge. Dogs are permitted to be off-lead between the hours of 8pm and 6am only.
Dogs are not permitted to be in the playground area at any time.
Penalties can apply to any dog owner/handler found to be in breach of the above provisions.
Council encourages all pet owners to be responsible pet owners particularly when in public spaces.
