Understand your options, the rebates, and what's possible if you're not eligible.

Following our recent Electrify Your Apartment event, join us for this webinar that dives into one of the questions we hear most: can my building actually go solar, and if so, how?

We'll walk through:

  • The different ways apartment buildings can access solar — common property systems, individual lot solar, embedded networks, and what's realistically achievable depending on your building's setup
  • The rebates and incentives currently available in Victoria, and how they apply (or don't) to owners' corporations and multi-unit buildings
  • What to do if you're not eligible for a rebate — alternative pathways, financing options, and how other buildings have made it work anyway
  • The practical steps: who to talk to, what approvals you need, how to bring it to your OC, and where to start

We'll also introduce the free support available through the ZapCat pilot program for apartment building communities in Maribyrnong and Melbourne’s West. ZapCat can help take your building from idea to action - starting with a virtual consultation with a technical expert, all the way through to helping you get quotes and deciding on a preferred provider.

Whether your building is just starting to explore solar or you've hit a wall trying to figure out where to begin, this session will give you a clear, practical roadmap.

The Webinar will be led by:

  • Jimmy Li, Director and Co-Founder of ZapCat - a certified social enterprise helping Australians transition their homes to clean energy by electrifying everything.
  • Dr Janette Corcoran, OCN Board Director, and experienced governance and research professional (with a particular focus on the residential strata sector).
