Build Your Safe Spaces is a workshop for young people aged between 13 and 18.
Come to Phoenix Youth Centre where we will be using LEGO to build and explore your perception of ‘safe spaces’. We are interested to find out what ‘safe spaces’ mean to you. This workshop will investigate how you feel about safety, inclusivity and representation in the Maribyrnong community.
Use your imagination and build what you think makes a fun and inclusive space.
At the end of the session, we will discuss how your LEGO-inspired ideas could help create better and safer online spaces. Your insights will be invaluable and will help us to better understand how to connect with you and other young people in the community.
You will receive a $50 voucher for your time. Food and drinks will be provided.
Spots are limited!
