Tabloid TV Darlings

Beginning in 2019, the then 15-year-olds, Tabloid TV Darlings, began playing music with each other in their Melbourne school’s music centre, quickly finding themselves with a gig at a house party and a unique sound they were all curious to build upon in future. Their dissonant-melodic sound and punk-rock attitude, reminiscent of 90s grunge, landed them shows with local-legend bands such as The Belair Lip Bombs, Stiff Richards, and Civic.

Sonically, the band look to influences from a collection of musicians including Blur, Courtney Barnett, Joy Division, Stella Donnelly and DMA’s.
