Those flimsy plastic bags at the supermarket product section are one of the most common single-use plastics we reach for without thinking. In this workshop, participants will hand-sew two lightweight drawstring bags from cotton fabric- perfect for carrying fruit and vegetables. With just a few simple stitches and a drawstring, you'll take home something you'll use every single week.
The average Australian uses approximately 45 plastic produce bags a year. In this workshop, you'll make your own reusable ones and never need another!
All materials provided. No experience needed. Suitable for ages 12+
