Signature Festivals and Activation Grants Program - Now Open

Maribyrnong City Council’s Signature Festivals and Activations Grants Program is now open for applications. 

Two funding streams are available as part of this Grants Program.

Signature Festivals Stream:

• Grants of up to $40,000 (per annum) are available for larger scale festivals (attracting audiences of 5,000+) that showcase the best of the City of Maribyrnong, its geography, local cultures or creative talents and attract audiences across Melbourne and Victoria
• Not-for-profit incorporated organisations can apply (unincorporated not-for-profit organisations or groups can apply through an auspice agreement)

Place-based Initiatives (Annual) Stream:

• Grants of up to $20,000 are available for place-based activities that creatively activate Maribyrnong’s public spaces, business precincts and local neighbourhoods
• Not-for-profit incorporated organisations can apply (unincorporated not-for-profit organisations or groups can apply through an auspice agreement)

Applications for both streams close 4pm on Wednesday 11 June 2025.

Funded activities must be delivered prior to 30 June 2026.
