Council proudly presents the Maribyrnong Sustainable Living Festival, a month-long celebration of sustainability and community action across the City of Maribyrnong from 1 to 28 February 2026.

This free community festival is designed to inspire, educate and empower people from all walks of life to adopt sustainable living practices and take positive action for the environment.

The festival program includes a diverse range of workshops, hands-on activities, expert presentations and community showcases focusing on topics such as renewable energy, climate action, waste reduction, sustainable gardening, upcycling and biodiversity.

Highlights include:

• Braybrook Community Sustainable Living Expo: Hear from experts about sustainable energy options, practical eco‑friendly lifestyle tips and effective ways to reduce waste in one action packed afternoon. Click here for more information.
