Plastic pollution is a significant problem for our oceans and natural environment, our wildlife, and our health. While recycling efforts can make a difference, we can’t completely recycle our way out of the plastic issue.
One of the ways we can contribute as individuals is to avoid single-use plastics where possible.
This Plastic Free July, Maribyrnong City Council invites local residents to learn how to make beeswax wraps to take home as a replacement for plastic food wrap. All materials will be provided.
Bookings are essential and can be made below. As places are limited, please let us know if you can no longer attend.
