Youth Beeswax Wrap Making Workshop

Plastic pollution is a significant problem for our oceans and natural environment, our wildlife, and our health. While recycling efforts can make a difference, we can’t completely recycle our way out of the plastic issue. One of the ways we can contribute as individuals is to avoid single-use plastics where possible.

This Plastic Free July, Maribyrnong City Council invites young local residents to learn how to make beeswax wraps to take home as a replacement for plastic food wrap. All materials will be provided.

This workshop is for young people aged 11 - 18 years.
