Young performers at Yarraville Festival

Vibrant, up and coming talent from the inner west will be on stage at the Yarraville Festival 2019 on Sunday, 17 February.

Maribyrnong Youth Services will be presenting a 40 minute set of local musical talent 2pm – 2.40pm at the Ballarat Street stage.

Performers include:
Niasha. This singer/songwriter/spoken word poet is Zimbabwean born dynamite who delves into the love, identity and a fulfilled life.

Singer/guitarist/songwriter Ben Trillado intertwines elements of folk and soul to create intensely evocative music. 

Raiden is an up and coming hip hop/rap artist who specializes in bringing fun and energy to the stage while addressing important issues in his life.

Closer to Nowhere are an all-female 3-piece band, hailing from Yarraville and playing primarily alternative rock and mainstream alternative music, but also blues, riot girl influenced punk and hard rock.
