Volunteer Instructor

Do you have a passion for sewing or quilting and want to share your skills with others?

We're looking for a volunteer instructor to help guide community workshops in sewing, quilting and creative fabric projects.

The role will be based at Braybrook Community Hub, 107-139 Churchill Avenue, Braybrook.

This is a great chance to:

  • Inspire creativity and teach practical skills.
  • Support beginners and hobbyists alike.
  • Be part of a friendly and welcoming community.

Requirements

To be considered for the role you must:

  • Be confident in basic sewing and or quilting techniques.
  • Be able to guide and support beginners with patience.
  • Be comfortable sewing and troubleshooting a sewing machine.
  • Be reliable and able to commit to regular sessions.
  • Have a friendly and encouraging attitude.
  • Have current working with children check.

Work days/hours

The work days/hours for volunteer instructors is Tuesdays from 10am to 12pm.
