Plastic Free July for Residents

reusable 2.png

Plastic Free July isn’t about being perfect – it’s about starting with small steps that build sustainable habits into the future. Collectively we can make a massive difference in our communities and environment.

Ready to take the challenge?

Start by choosing to refuse one plastic item and swap it out for a reusable option during July. For example, swap plastic food wrap for airtight containers or keep a reusable drink container handy. Or download this handy PDF for more challenge ideas.

It takes only a minute to register on the website. Include Maribyrnong as your local government area, so your contribution is counted in our collective efforts.
